Emotional well-being can bring up positive associations, positive emotions, thoughts, happiness, love and acceptance even when confronted with adversity and stressful situations. Because only when you are emotionally healthy, your mood is good, you can bounce back to your original position once shaken. It is an integral part of holistic wellness because it affects the outlook on life. Whereas Resilience, Self-awareness, and Contentment make the foundation for good well-being. It helps you be in tune with emotions and vulnerability. Therefore, attending to your emotional well-being is always a good investment, in good times or bad. The gratification of emotional health is the cleverest move an individual can make. Because paying attention to your well-being means asking yourself a big question "What brings me satisfaction?" Nurturing your emotional health is as important as nurturing your physical health. On having bad physical health, you may experience high blood pressure, ulcers, chest pain, or other physical symptoms. At the same time, excellent emotional well-being can save you from psychological symptoms.





Excellent emotional well-being means a person is :

Curious about yourself. Ask yourself, 'why do I feel or react this way?' when you experience a negative emotion. This is how you uncover the reasons.

Having an apparent reason identified, state it and share it with someone or write it down to reduce the weight of these overwhelming emotions and feelings.

There is no room for negativity, overthinking, and stress when every emotion is clearly said.

Any thought challenging your emotional well-being will be followed by questioning it. Is it true? Go deeper, open your mind, and question what you think you know. How do you feel when you think about this thought? Consider the emotions and feelings that come along with a negative thought. Turn around the initial thought that challenged your well-being to wrap up this practice. Use the new thought that supports logic and good emotional well-being. You can then respond instead of reacting by exercising emotional intelligence. You measure your ideas and thoughts and exercise your intellect in any situation.






How can I improve my emotional well-being?

Emotional well-being is more of a process than a goal. Everyday feelings of restlessness, sadness, and frustrations are hard to go through in just one try and hard to lose control over them once handled. Remember, it is not always in a good state, but it is a way of equipping to deal with adversities. Here is how you can practice this

© Emotions can sometimes be hard to deal with after being identified. So first, learn strategies to deal with such a heated mood. For example, you can do meditation, journal, read a book, listen to music or have a walk-in your garden to let go of bad feelings.

© How and with whom you spend most of your time can impact your comfort and peace. Staying connected with loved ones can provide a buffer when you're going through challenges

© Try not to be hard on yourself; forgive others yourself. Forgiveness opens the path to living in the moment of growth and happiness.

© Just like that, live every moment and be mindful.

© Being Self-aware will help you recognize your own emotions, strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. So you can manage how to control or redirect harmful or disruptive impulses and adapt to certain situations or relationships
